Presentation Day Tomorrow

Congratulations! We have reached the end of this journey and most of you have not only survived but have produced some amazing work that I can't wait to show off tomorrow.

Some things to keep in mind...

* Remember to bring your reading logs if you did not have them today.
* Remember to come in the morning before going to first period to set up your technology.

I am so very proud of your hard work!

Love you much!

Things We Need To Think About...

Considering this is the first time that we have hosted a Reading Fair, there are many things that Mrs. Canup and I have discovered about the process.

We...

1. need two more class days to complete the project.
2. need students to use writing days in class to actually write.
3. would like for students to meet with a judge and present the project instead of just setting it up in the media center.
4. should probably have a hospitality room for the judges.
5. need to secure clip boards for the judging.
6. need to consider the master calendar when deciding a date. Moving chairs for the faculty meeting is not going to be fun.
7. should assign students a number for their board before judging.
8. need to order more boards for students who can't provide their own.
9. should encourage the kids to double check their spelling before glueing materials to the board; the title is Fallen Angels, not Fallen Angles.
10. need to add time for a Museum Walk.
 YOU FILL IN THE BLANK...

Almost There...

Tomorrow is the last day to work on your project. It must be at its assigned station before you leave the class unless you are staying after school to set up your board.

You all have been working very hard; I am very impressed by some of the work that you have completed so far and can't wait to see the final result.

One Week Until Presentation

Time to start putting our boards together. Sierra and Heather spend time making their board look perfect!

Mrs. Canup helps Chris and Austin insert their Animoto into their PowerPoint.

Heavenly and Nicole add bees to their project board.

Caleb and TJ glue letters to their board. They used the Cricut machine to make their letters.

Reminders:

Next year we need to tell students to bring in a zip-lock bag to store letters and cutout shapes.
